Bareen International Hospital treats an international patient, coming all the way from Nigeria.

Ms. Binta Fatima, a Nigerian national aged 35, had lost hope to bear children after having recurrent IVF failures from previous procedures done in Africa.  Dr. Archana Ashtekar, Specialist - Obstetrics and Gynecology, diagnosed her with female infertility due to multiple uterine fibroids, cysts on the right ovary and severe endometriosis and bilateral hydrosalpinges - a condition that occurs when the fallopian tube is blocked and filled with infective fluid near the ovary.

Ms. Binta underwent a complicated laparoscopic medical operation under the medical expertise of Dr. Archana and Dr. Sandesh Kade, Specialist - Obstetrics and Gynecology.  The surgery lasted for 4 hours, applying complex techniques to remove the uterine fibroids, the infected fallopian tubes, and all endometriotic tissues.

Ms. Binta responded positively to the surgery and recovered extremely well.  She was discharged after 4 days.  “I felt so depressed when I could not conceive my own child, even through IVF.  Running from one medical facility to another was taking a toll on me – physically, emotionally, and mentally. However, Bareen International Hospital has been a blessing.  Dr. Archana and Dr. Sandesh have not only helped diagnose the problem, but have also treated the condition accurately.  At each stage of my treatment, I was well-informed about the processes and procedures and the doctors along with the medical team at the hospital provided quality services every step of the way.  My husband and I are very grateful to Bareen,” said Ms. Binta.
